Mischa barton was born on January 24, 1986, in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared in The Sixth Sense a suspense movie. The O.C. Starred in a T.V. show which was extremely well-known. The O.C., a hugely popular TV series in which she was a star. Benjamin McKenzie, her lover. who was her romantic interest. Barton's first appearance on TV was in 1994 when she played a young Corvina hero in flashbacks from the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996 Barton returned to All My Children, replacing Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. She was a guest star in eight episodes of the television series Once and Again as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover Katie Singer. She returned in 2001 to film and appeared in the indie Canadian comedy Lost and Delirious based on the novel The Wives of Bath by Susan Swan. Barton together with co-stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo had mixed receptions. Julie Johnson (2001), in which Barton starred alongside Lili Taylor Courtney Love and Courtney Love as the daughter of woman involved in a homosexual relationship. Barton appeared in Tart (2002) the indie drama for teenagers starring Brad Renfro & Dominique Swain. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. Her reception in Romania was one of hero. Comaneci's Olympic medal total increased to nine following four years of participation in the Olympics in 1980. Comaneci was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1996. She was also named as one of the top 100 women of the 20th century according to ABC News. Comaneci, an American Olympic Champion Bart Conner was married to her in April 1996. They had a child, Dylan Paul. They own a number of gymnastics related businesses, which include Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci also participates with a range of charitable organizations serving on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally she has continued to help a variety of charitable organizations in her native country of Romania which includes Romania's Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
